Wednesday's Wearings, #30

holy schnikes...30 weeks of this post...

Remember last week when I posted this pic of the Sierra Necklace?


I am SO giddy about showing you the rest of the post, but I am happier at the bottom part of the post. Read on ;).

I get asked about who takes my pictures for this series. A few, and I mean a very few, I take myself. The rest of the credit goes to my 12 year old. Yuppers. 12. And there are times, she gets crazy irritated with me, but looking back at her progress from when I first started this, it's night and day. She is in honors art (One proud mama here), but has started taking photography this semester too. And I have been working with her, coaching her on this side of the camera and telling her what to do (showing her other photos). I really, really want all of the offspring to be able to take a good picture, not be a professional or anything, but just really be able to look back at great pics. I do think this is vital (or to me it is), like some believe it is vital to know how to play golf and keep up with it later on in life...a ton of business takes place on the golf course, and I get it. And I am giddy that my little nerds are following in my nerdy footsteps. So, hats off to you, kiddo...you are one cool 12 year old.
