The Little Dude's Dresser in Progress

Over Spring Break, a few weeks ago, the hubs and little dude went fishing for a tad over 24 hours. I knew this was my chance, to pull an all nighter and party hard. Painting a room, a dresser, moving and rearranging and assembling a new bed. Needless to say I crashed after they returned.

I have had these for a while, and finally hung them up, he was uber excited to see them up...

Here is the ghastly before. I feel truly nauseated looking at this. Why? I can't believe I posted this pic first of all and second, this was after...AFTER I tell you, that I had told him ALL friggin day long to pick up. This is the before, from the morning they booked it out of town. What is that brown thing in the middle with crap hanging out? Oh yes, that is the remnants of his dresser, he has two small ones. And they were needless to say they were overflowing. And the old school calculator on the bed? You never know when you will have a mathematical equation to project...
Whatevs....

I had been looking for a decent size dresser for all of his clothes and to set out his lego houses and such, so he does not have to take them apart. A friend mentioned on fb one morning that she had a dresser they weren't using and it was available to the first taker.
I do not kid.
Fo.
Real.
I jumped on it like a yo-yo dieter on cheescake....ALL OVER IT.
Well, it sat in the garage for a few months till I had my plan, and painted it outside, in the pitch blackness of 11pm, while my neighbor across the street watched. Hey, I was under pressure

Before...

After...

I am no where finished. My plans involve a certain design that I would rather not mention now, but I decided to move it in for him to use and I can finish it up in his room. I will be posting the rest of the room soon, just have a few things left to do ;)
