Hair Clips and Bobby Pins

As I was cruising the isles of Hobby Hell Lobby this week, searching for supplies for luggage tags (a barbie themed party ;)), I found some super cute scrap booking material, similar to what I used in this post to make the offspring some hair clips. But these were for myself, which I wore in yesterdays post, yessssss......

Awesomesauce, yes? I couldn't agree more. And to think these were meant to be closed inside a scrapbook, pshhh.  

Took these little babies and along with some bobby pins I had already bought previously and pulled the handy dandy hot glue gun from my holster and pow!  Crazy easy to make, holla....

Wednesday Wearings #46

Ahh first official day of summer....

Nothing like attempting to take pics and post this with 48er-ish kids running in and out, the door bell ringing every 34 seconds (the little fart holding it down till it shorts out and having him mock me by counting out loud to 60 when I tell him they will be out in a second), 102+ temperature outside, and the pulse in my eye returning...hence the sunglasses.

Master Chair Redo

Evidently I have a chair obsession... A girl's gotta sit down right, pshhh.....

I picked up this new girl back in the fall, found her on craigslist along with a few other finds, for a whopping ten buckaroos... Ain't she a beaut? (vision, it's all about having a vision ;))

I knew pretty much what color I wanted to go with and sat on it, not literally, a while till I knew what fabric. While searching for my windows it hit me like a bolt of fabric, I knew what to do.

Yup, go figure...gray chevron. But I totally dig it. Drumroll please.....

Thinking it will work well with our room...

Bird pillow will prolly be gone in the morn, I'm on the hunt...

Teachers Gifts 2012

This is pretty similar to last years post....ok, OK, Fine...

Its basically the same thing. Whatevs....haters....

Anywho, I was aiming for something different, but while browsing I noticed the same bags drastically marked down. I mean wayyyy down (can't say the price, most of them read these post!). As I tapped my foot, remembering that we have 86 teachers, give or take, I pondered for a bit in the isle of Hobby Hell Lobby.

what the heck, just do it...

So same as last year, I proceeded to make name tags for those who needed it (not all did), and stationary for those who do, and all of the bags. I snapped this for last nights fb post, and it makes you think for a second, could I possibly love Instagram more than my Nikon? no...maybe? Hmm, never... but....
